VODKAT LEAGUE NEARS FOR TOWN

Runcorn Town's long awaited move into the Vodkat League moved a step closer this week following a visit from their ground grading committee.

Four members of the team visited Town on Tuesday afternoon to assess work that the club has made since the last application, with positive feedback coming out of the visit.

We still have to complete a number of small jobs around the ground but its more a case now of "dotting the i's and crossing the t's" than any major work which has been the case over the last two seasons.

A further boost came on Friday evening from comments made by Vodkat League Chairman Dave Tomlinson, who was a special guest on Radio Lancashire's Non-League Show, which is on the air every Friday evening from 7-8pm.
