OPENING FIXTURES RELEASED
The West Cheshire League have released details of the fixtures up to the first weekend in September, and what a very busy period it is!

Following an opening Bill Weight Memorial Cup Semi-Final fixture on Monday 6th August, when we entertain Poulton Victoria, plus the Annual Carlsberg Penalty Shoot Out to be held at Runcorn Town on Thursday 9th August (of which we are the current holders), the league begins with the 1st team travelling to Aintree Villa whilst the Reserves are at home to newly elected Mossley Hill Athletic.

The Reserves quickly return to action on the Monday evening, again hosting new arrivals Hale. The 1st team miss out on a midweek fixture before playing hosts to Marine Reserves the following Saturday, when the Reserves travel to Capenhurst Villa Reserves.

Another quick return to action for the Reserves against yes, you've guessed, entertaining newly elected opposition in Richmond Raith Rovers on Monday 20th. The 1st team play hosts to Christleton on the Wednesday of the same week, before again playing hosts to Ellesmere Port the following Saturday - our Reserves playing the reverse fixture at Ellesmere Port Reserves the same day.

An extra day's respite for the Reserves this week before their home fixture with Focus on Tuesday 28th, one night before the 1st team travel to Cammell Laird Reserves for our last fixture of August. The first Saturday of September sees the 1st team at home to Blacon Youth Club, and the Reserves travelling to Blacon Youth Club Reserves.

If the coming months prove to be as busy we'll be having out end-of-season just after Christmas ?
