Runcorn Town have today submitted their application to join the Vodkat League for the 2010/11 season, with the club confident that it will be third time lucky for acceptance into the league.
The biggest stumbling block in the past has always been floodlights which are essential to getting in the league. Although we knew that we would not be able to get into the league without them, applying previously has also allowed us to get a full list of jobs that were required in order to meet the ground criteria.
Now that the floodlights are installed and working, we believe that all other jobs that have been completed, and we look forward now to the visit of the ground grading committee who will decide whether the ground is up to standard or not.
In the unlikely event that it isn't up to standard, we will still have until 31st March to complete any outstanding work and with only minor jobs to do, we will be able to meet this deadline.
