Runcorn Town will be looking to move to the top of West Cheshire League One after December's fixtures were confirmed earlier today. However they will once again be mostly "on the road" and should no games be called off, will have completed 12 of their 15 away games by the end of the year compared to just 4 home games.
The month starts with Town at home to Maghull on Saturday 5th, with Town looking to complete the double after winning 2-1 at Old Hall Field in September through Warren Bellew and Simon Burton's goals.
There is then a midweek game which will be the first competitive midweek game under the new lights on Wednesday 9th December. This is the First Round tie in the Pyke Cup against neighbours Halton which was postponed last week, with kick off at 7.30pm.
Saturday 12th sees Town with a tricky looking tie away at Newton who we meet for the first time this season. Newton lie fifth in the table, eight points behind Town, but have games in hand on all teams above them. Kick off at Newton is 2.00pm.
The month ends for Town on Saturday 19th with another away game, this time a local derby at Halton. Kick off there is 2.00pm.
There are no fixtures for the league over the Christmas and New Year period.
