SHIELD DATE AWAITS RESERVES

Runcorn Town Reserves face just two league games in December, with the other match being the much anticipated Quarter Final tie in the West Cheshire Shield.

Town Reserves start with an away trip to Richmond Raith Rovers on 5th December (2.00pm), with Richmond looking to complete the double over Town after winning 3-1 on the opening day of the season.

The following Saturday (12th) sees Town play Prescot Cables in the West Cheshire Shield at Pavilions. Both teams are doing well in the league and with Hale already out, the winners of this should be favourites for the competition. Kick off is at 2.30pm with the game to be settled on the day.

The month ends on 19th December with another home tie, this time against Mersey Royal (3.00pm). Town have already beaten Mersey Royal once this season, with Dave Jolley and Aarron Brown grabbing two goals each in a 4-2 win.
