CAREY GOAL WINS TOWN DERBY A goal two minutes into the second half from Jason Carey gave the first team victory in today's Runcorn Town derby game against the reserve team.Tony Wynne went close for the first team after 10 minutes after beating the offside trap but shot wide from the edge of the box, with Aarron Brown having the reserves' best effort just before the break from Robbie Gorry's ball over the top, but Brown's shot was straight at Karl Wills. The only goal of the game came when the ball was crossed from the right with Carey shooting through a melee of players into the bottom left hand corner. Wynne had another opportunity late in the game to double the lead but Carl Williams produced a tremendous save to deny him.
