RESERVES NOTCH UP ANOTHER WIN
Runcorn Town Reserves racked up their fourth successive West Cheshire League victory to stay in third place after a 2-1 win at fourth placed Ashville Reserves.

Aarron Brown's double made it ten goals in the last four league games which moves him to be leading scorer at the club at present.

His first came in the 29th minute following a series of one touch passes that opened up the home defence with Brown firing an unstopable shot into the top corner from Barry Angell's lofted pass.

The second came in the 40th minute, this time from the penalty spot after Brown himself was brought down.

Ashville pulled a goal back in the 67th minute when their centre forward ANTHONY WHITE headed a cross accurately beyond the diving Carl Williams.
