TOWN HIT VAUXHALL FOR SIX
Runcorn Town enjoyed a happy return to Rivacre Park as they scored six without reply at Vauxhall Motors for the second season running.

Ste Latham's goal was the only one of the first half, with Town capitalising on wind advantage in the second half to score more.

Simon Burton made it two from the penalty spot after Danny Cummins was fouled with Tony Wynne making it three after keeper Karl Wills' huge clearance put him one-on-one.

Burton made it four after a defensive error left him with a tap in and Wynne added the fifth after a run from the left wing and shot past the keeper.

Ian Robinson's cross from the left with two minutes to go sealed the win for Town, but it could have been much different if not for Wills who pulled off three incredible saves in the second half, all from Vauxhall's Salah Arfaoui.
