COMMITTEE MEMBERS WANTED

Runcorn Town Football Club are sending an open invite out to anybody interested in joining their committee as they prepare to move into the football pyramid for the first time in their history.

Previous experience of being involved in a football club is not required with the club simply looking for enthusiastic people who want to take an active role at a progressive club.

Secretary Martin Fallon said “Many people would like to get involved in a football club but would not know where to start which is why we are sending out an open invite

“With the first team moving into the North West Counties League for the first time next season and the club moving forward as a whole, we thought that it would be a good time seek out potential members who would like to take an active role in the club as it develops.

“We have two senior teams at the moment and also hold Soccer Schools during school holidays for children of Runcorn and Widnes. However we also have plans to add junior teams to the club in the next year or two as we look to position the club as more of a focal point of the local community”.
