WYNNE THE MAN AGAINST HESWALL
Tony Wynne hit his first hat-trick for Runcorn Town as they secured another valuable three points with a 4-0 win at Heswall.

Runcorn had few chances in the first half but Wynne put their first away in the 18th minute at the end of a great move. Ste Latham held off a challenge in midfield and found Warren Bellew on the left, he beat a defender and his superb cross was headed home by Wynne.

Heswall had a couple of chances to equalise but Town's second stunned them in 61 minute. Bellew played another superb ball into Wynne with the keeper saving his first effort before he tapped the ball into the empty net after it rebounded to him.

Wynne's third came a minute later when Emini Adegbenro won the ball on the right, with a defender waiting for him to commit, Jon McEvoy instead crossed for Wynne to sidefoot past the keeper.

The fourth arrived after 80 minutes through James McShane, who has been absent for Town for the last 14 months. Latham put him clear. he held off the challenge of a defender before finding the top corner with a superb shot.
