TOWN TO FACE LIVERPOOL COUNTY IN FRIENDLY

Runcorn Town have once again been invited to be the opponents for the Liverpool County Premier League representative side as they warm up for their National League Systems Cup First Round tie.

This is the third season in succession that Town will have played Liverpool, with the two previous matches been close encounters which Liverpool have edged 4-2 in Liverpool in 2007/08 and 2-1 at Town last season.

This season's match will take place on Tuesday 15th September at the Liverpool Soccer Centre on Walton Hall Avenue, Liverpool.

Liverpool will be warming up for a game four days later when they travel to Whitley Bay FC to take on the representative side from the Northern Football Alliance.
