TOWN SAY BOND GOING NOWHERE Runcorn Town have announced that Alan Bond is "going nowhere" after news stories broke linking him with a big money move to ambitious Runcorn Albion.Albion, who were taken over earlier earlier in the summer by Arab Billionaire Ai Bin Wachin Yoo, were linked earlier in the day with the Town hotshot who has scored four in four games this season. The story broke on the Runcorn Albion website earlier today after Bond was spotted at Pavilions, and quickly spread to other sources such as Sky Sports News. We have been in touch with Bond who has told us that he has no desire to move, particularly as Town have recently added to the tea bar with purchases or Snickers and KitKat's, Bond's favourite foods. He was only at the ground as he is eager ahead of tonight's game at Manor. We are also pleased that Sky Sports News are now issuing our version of the story which is that there is no truth in it whatsoever. ![]() Posted at 15:41 on Tuesday 1st September 2009 - Viewed 406 times |
