Two goals in the last five minutes ensured that Runcorn Town Reserves picked up their second win in four days with a 3-0 victory over Ellesmere Port.
Dave Jolley's 35-yard wonder strike had given Town the lead shortly before half time after a largely forgetful first half in which Mark McGrath's effort against the post was the only noteworthy chance.
The second half was much better from Town with their approach play really good and just the final ball lacking. Paul Illidge struck the crossbar with a cross cum shot from the left hand side, and with just a one goal lead it was always conceivable that Port could grab something.
Aarron Brown made sure that was not the case five minutes from time with as he held off a challenge to get on the end of Robbie Gorry's ball into the box and fire past the keeper.
Jordan Stafford netted Town's third with two minutes remaining after Brown had seen his shot served and Stafford's initial effort was also blocked.
