TOWN COMEBACK TO DRAW AT CASTROL

Runcorn Town had to rely on an equalising goal from Ste Latham ten minutes from time to secure a point at Castrol Social, but should really have took all three after missing a host of chances.

Ryan Nicholl put Castrol ahead on the hour when he dispossessed Greg Byrne in the box and fired a shot across Karl Wills and into the corner of the net.

Latham's equaliser came after Jason Carey had played the ball into the box looking for Simon Burton, with the ball half cleared, Latham hit a sweet half volley from 25-yards that gave Castrol's substitute keeper no chance.
