FLOODLIGHTS BEGIN GOING UP

Runcorn Town's application to join North West Counties League for next season is well on track with the installation of the floodlight stanchions today.

One of the biggets jobs to complete in order to meet the criteria is the installation of floodlights. Electrical cable was installed last week, with the stanchions now going up today.

All that remains is for the lights themselves to be erected onto the stanchions followed by the wiring up of the lights themselves.

We are hopeful that the job will be completed entirely by mid-September, well ahead of the March 31st deadline set by the Football Association.
