RESERVES COMEBACK TO STUN WOLSTANTON
Runcorn Town Reserves left it very late to cap off a superb second half performance as they came from two goals behind to draw 2-2 at Staffordshire County League side Wolstanton United.

Wolstanton went ahead after just two minutes with a headed goal direct from a corner and they doubled their lead after 43 minutes when a defensive error led to their second.

The second half saw Town put in a fantastic performance with Dave Jolley grabbing what looked like a consolation goal in the 90th minute after good work by Ricky Thompson.

However four minutes into stoppage time Alan Bond found Jack Burbidge on the right and his low cross was almost turned in at the near post by Thompson. The midfielder was alert enough though to pull the ball back to Bond who rifled home a deserved equaliser.
