
Runcorn Town's Pre-Season Programme can now be confirmed with both the first team and reserve team facing several tough matches.
Next Saturday the club will travel by coach to play two matches against Welsh Alliance League Champions Bethesda Athletic. These will be two "club" games as opposed to First Team and Reserve Team games, with matches kicking off at 12.30pm and 3.00pm.
There is then a midweek break before the next matches on Saturday 26th July. The first team will host Vodkat Premier League side Newcastle Town at Pavilions, kick off 3.00pm, with Newcastle finishing in 3rd place last season. The Reserves will travel to Lucas Sports who finished 8th in the Liverpool Premier League.
Midweek games then see the first team play Warrington Town on the Tuesday, with the Cantilever Park side likely sending their reserve team, with the reserves playing Cheshire League Two side Tarporley Victoria on the Wednesday. Both games are at Pavilions with 7.00pm kick off.
Saturday 1st August then sees the first team travel to the superb Platt Lane to face Manchester Premier League side Gregorians who won the league last season. The reserves will play Warrington Premier League side Haydock at home, with both matches at 3.00pm.
Midweek games then see Unibond Premier League side Marine visit Pavilions on the Tuesday, kick off 7.00pm. The reserves have an away game at Robin Hood Helsby on the Wednesday, also 7.00pm kick off.
The final matches before the season kicks off are on Saturday 8th August with 3.00pm kick offs. The first team travel to play Liverpool Premier League side Ford Motors, with the Reserves facing a tough match against Wolstanton United who finished second in the Staffordshire Premier League last season.
