RESERVES CRUSHED BY UPTON
Runcorn Town Reserves four match winning streak was ended with a 4-1 home defeat by Upton Athletic Association Reserves, however promotion still remains a possibilty after other results went the teams' way.

After a goalless first half, Nathan Freeman notched a quick fire hat-trick at the start of the second half to all but secure all three points for the Chester side. Dave Graven pulled one back for Town, with Stuart Cossins grabbing a late fourth for Upton who move up to sixth in the table.

In other results, leaders FC Pensby extended their lead to five points after beating Manor Athletic 1-0, but Town remain second after third placed Marshalls lost 3-2 at Richmond Raith Rovers Jacobs. Fourth place Hale also lost ground after drawing 1-1 with Ellesmere Port Reserves, with Christleton Reserves moving up to fifth after a 7-1 win at Blacon Youth Club Reserves.
