Runcorn Town extended their unbeaten run to 19 games with a 4-2 victory over FC Pensby at Pavilions.
After a goalless first half, Connor Taylor put Town ahead with a lob over the keeper after Dave Dempsey had played him in, before grabbing his second shortly after following another good Dempsey pass.
Ian Robinson's then danced through a static Pensby defence before rounding the keeper to make it 3-0, with Town looking likely for another comfortable win.
Pensby had other ideas though and stormed back with two goals in two minutes from Gaz Owen, the first a penalty and the second a header that went in via the underside of the bar.
However Town grabbed the fourth with seven minutes to go when Dave Dempsey broke on the right and crossed for keeper-turned-forward Dave Parkinson to score.
