RESERVES REMAIN IN SECOND PLACE
Runcorn Town Reserves remain in second place in West Cheshire League Three after coming from behind twice to win 3-2 at a windswept St Werburghs.

Town struggled to get into the game in the first half and put in one of the worse performances of the season. Werburghs took the lead after 15 minute with Shaun Campbell grabbing his sixth goal of the season, with Danny Cummins equalising from the spot after 24 minutes.

The second half saw Town start to take control with better passing and more possession, but they found themselves 2-1 down against the run of play with Rob Glover heading in from a corner.

One again it was Cummins who hauled Town level as he again scored from the spot for his fourth goal in four games and eighth of the campaign. Bouyed by the goal, Town grabbed what proved the winner through leading scorer Connor Anderson. He scooped the ball over the keeper from close range after a mix up in defence.

Despite the referee added on an astonishing nine minutes of added time, Town held on for their second successive away win.
