LIVERPOOL FA JUST EDGE OUT TOWN

Runcorn Town were given a very competitive workout by the Liverpool County FA Select XI, with the Liverpool team just edging the game by two goals to one.

In a closely contested and high tempo game, Town took the lead after 14 minutes through Kyle Hamid, with Paul Smith equalising for Liverpool FA. John Hagadorn got the winner just inside the second half.
