Current West Cheshire League champions West Kirby closed the gap at the top of the league to two points with a comprehensive 4-0 victory at leaders Runcorn Town.
It was Town's biggest loss since being beaten 5-1 at Christleton in March 2006, and the biggest home loss since the club changed its name to Runcorn Town in 2005.
Chris Barrow put West Kirby ahead in the 27th minute after Chris Relly somehow got in a cross from the right with Danny Salt and Matty Jones both marking him. Karl Wills saved Barrow's initial shot from just five yards out, with the ball rebounding to Barrow who had the simple task of putting the ball into the net.
The second goal came in the 49th minute with Chris Reilly's stunning finish that went in off the bar, with Paul Casey making it three after 53 minutes with a free kick that eluded everyone and crept in the near post.
Kevin Ryan added the fourth on the hour mark as he got clear of the defence and rounded Wills to complete an emphatic scoreline.
Town's only real efforts came when they were four goals behind. Orme saved Kyle Hamid's free kick in the 68th minute, with Jason Carey shooting wide from in the box after Aarron Brown had laid the ball off. Ian Robinson went closest as he got clear on the right, but his shot was deflected wide for a corner.
