RUNCORN FA SATURDAY CUP

Runcorn Town will face old manager Garry Moore's Helsby team in the Semi-Finals of the Runcorn FA Saturday Cup after Halton pulled out of the competition.

Helsby will provide a stern test for Town with the team currently top of West Cheshire League Two having lost just one league game this season. They also have a host of ex-Town players in the squad including Connor Taylor, Alan Bond, Gary Lunt, Wayne Linnett and Craig Dewhurst.

The tie will place on Wednesday 18th March on the floodlit pitch at Pavilions, with a kick off time of 7.00pm.

In the other semi-final, Runcorn Albion will take on Halfway Celtic. This will be played a week earlier on Wednesday 11th March, with a kick off time of 7.00pm.
