TOWN TO FACE LIVERPOOL FA

Runcorn Town FC will face the Liverpool FA Representative team in a friendly next Wednesday evening. The game will take place at Pavilions, with a kick off time of 7.30pm.

The club have been asked for the game by the county as they continue the build up to their National Systems Cup First Round tie at the end of the season.

Town have faced Liverpool FA before when they were preparing for their tie last season. In that game Liverpool took an early lead before Kyle Hamid and Ian Robinson struck to give Town a half time lead. A flurry of second half substitutions followed with Liverpool FA's depth proving too much as they ran out 4-2 winners.
