TOWN'S UNBEATEN RUN CONTINUES
West Cheshire League leaders Runcorn Town stretched their unbeaten league run to sixteen games with a convincing 5-2 win at Aintree Villa.

Kyle Hamid was in superb form and set up the opening two goals for Ian Robinson (9) and Simon Burton (26), with Jason Carey grabbing the third after 33 minutes with his 23rd goal of the season.

Aintree got back into the game in the 51st minute through John Gladwell, with Hamid getting a deserved goal in the 62nd minute after good work from substitute Aarron Brown who caused Aintree's defence all sorts of problems after his introducion.

Aintree pulled another goal back after 71 minutes through Ian Woodward, but Town weren’t finished and added a fifth three minutes from time with Burton grabbing his 19th goal of the season.
