TOWN RETURN TO TOP AFTER DRAW
Runcorn Town Reserves returned to the top of West Cheshire League Three after a 2-2 draw at home to Richmond Raith Rovers Jacobs.

John Starkey put Richmond ahead after 12 minutes, with Dave Jolley equalising after 24 minutes with his sixth goal in three games.

Richmond went ahead three minutes before half time with a chip from Mike Sullivan with Town's second coming from Connor Anderson after 72 minutes.

Town should have had a penalty in the second half with Jolley hacked down in the box, with Richmond hitting the crossbar with five minutes left as they pressed for a winner.
