TOWN EXTEND UNBEATEN RUN Runcorn Town extended their unbeaten run to 18 West Cheshire League games with a 4-2 victory over Capenhurst Villa at Pavilions. After winning the league last week, and with the reserve team having no game, Town took the opportunity to field several reserve team players to see how they perform at a higher level. A Darren Moore header and a lovely lob from Connor Taylor put Town 2-0 up at half time, but James Fletcher pulled one back early in the second half. Taylor's third goal in two Division Two games restored Town's two goal lead, with Mark Ryan putting Capenhurst back in it with a solo goal. The points were sealed a minute from time when Taylor broke on the left, rounded the keeper and unselfishly crossed for Aaron Brown, who scored into the empty net.
