FIRST TEAM GET TOUGH FIXTURES

February's fixtures will go a long way to deciding the destiny of the 2008/09 West Cheshire League Trophy after the release of February's fixtures.

Town travel to 6th placed Aintree Villa on Saturday 7th February with the Liverpool side already haven given Town a tough time in the home game with only two late goals sealing all three points.

February 14th sees 5th placed Vauxhall Motors Reserves travel to Runcorn, with the 6-0 victory earlier this month still fresh in both teams' minds.

3rd placed Cammell Lairds then await the following week in Birkenhead, with kick off for this game being 3.00pm since Lairds to have floodlights. Town will be looking to do better than last season when Lairds took all six points off Town.

Saturday February 28th sees the biggest game of the season so far with defending champions West Kirby travelling to Runcorn. West Kirby top the form guide having won their last nine games but lie in fourth position in the league having not played a league game since 29th November.

All games except the Lairds game kick off at 2.00pm.
