RESERVES V CAPENHURST GAME OFF

Following a pitch inspection this morning Runcorn Town's pitch was frozen solid. Groundsman Paul Rhodes managed to roll the pitch during a break in the cold spell this week and had created a good surface for the West Cheshire league game. But at 11am with the temperature at -4 and just 3 hours to kick off it was decided, following advice from the groundsman. to save our visitors and the referee a wasted journey and the game was called off.
