Runcorn Town have again avoided their main championship contenders after the release of January's fixtures by the West Cheshire League.
The month starts with what is probably the hardest game of the month on Saturday 3rd at Vauxhall Motors Reserves (kick off 3pm). Vauxhall currently lie in 8th place in the league table.
An open date follows the week after which will give West Kirby a chance to close the gap, but they have a tough looking game at home to Castrol Social on that day.
Saturday 17th sees 7th placed Marine Reserves travel to Pavilions and they will be looking for revenge after the 7-1 loss at home earlier in the season.
The week after sees Town travel to Ellesmere Port looking to emulate last seasons 4-1 result when Will Dolan scored a hat-trick.
The month ends with a home tie against struggling Blacon Youth Club with the game on paper a chance to improve our goal difference. Blacon have lost 15 of their 16 games so far and conceded a whopping 64 goals.
All games unless stated kick off at 2.00pm.
