
Runcorn Town Manager ROD LOOKER will be interviewed this coming SUNDAY on HALTON RADIO's 92.3 FM Sports Show, by Marc Buckley - the Radio Show's sports presenter.
A real true & proper Old Runcornian, born just a stones throw from Runcorn Linnets old Canal Street ground (Rod hails originally from the Wiverns Place area of the Old Town), he has a vast knowledge of the local football scene and all the inside goings on at Runcorn Town - plus the history of Mond Rangers, for who Rod played as a free scoring centre forward for many years. Rod played for Mond during their latter Warrington Premier League days and then he helped introduce the club into the Carlsberg West Cheshire League in 1984.
He has managed the club's Youth Team, he was unbeaten as the club's Reserve Team Manager during their 2 seasons in the Chester League, he has also managed the club in ALL THREE divisions of the West Cheshire League.
He has gained FA coaching badges and qualifications, and was one of the 'WIGAN Casino All-nighter DJs'.
The show starts at 4pm and will contain reports on both Runcorn Town matches from Saturday, with additional news features about the club plus all other local sporting issues.
Rod's interview should start after the 5 o'clock news, but listen in from 4pm for confirmation by Marc Buckley.
