Runcorn Town Football Club would like to offer their most sincere apologies to Runcorn Albion FC following a statement on this site in reference to the Runcorn Saturday Cup. It was originally stated that Runcorn Albion had made an objection about being drawn against Runcorn Town Reserves after originally receiving a bye in the 1st Round - this is not true, and the decision was made wholly by Runcorn & District FA without need to contact Runcorn Albion.
