RESERVES OUT OF RUNCORN CUP
Runcorn Town Reserves will not be participating in this season's Runcorn FA Saturday Cup after being removed from the competition by the Runcorn & District FA.

This marks the end of Town's attempts to get the reserves into a second cup competition this season with the team left to just defend the West Cheshire Shield that they won last season and try to win West Cheshire League Three which they already lead.

Although historically entered into the Guardian Cup, Town Reserves decided not to enter a team this season as it is not played on conference dates. Instead the club opting to enter the Chester & District Cup as an alternative after being advised to do so by the West Cheshire League.

The club were not in the draw for the Chester Cup when it was made so tried to enter the Runcorn Cup instead but did so after the draw for the first round of the competition was made.
