WATERLOO AWAIT AFTER RUNCORN CUP DRAW

Holders Runcorn Town face a trip to Waterloo Wanderers in the First Round of the Runcorn FA Cup after the draw was made last night.

Waterloo currently play in Division Four of the Warrington & District Football League and are without a win this season so far. The game will be played on Saturday 8th November 2008.

Should Town win, they will be away again in the Quarter Finals on Saturday 6th December, this time to Robin Hood Helsby or Spartak FC.

Meanwhile Runcorn Town Reserves will also be competing in the competition this year after opting not to enter the Guardian Cup because it is not played on conference dates which the West Cheshire League recognise.

Town Reserves will face a derby match at home to Runcorn Albion, and will travel to Moore United or Kydds Athletic should they overcome the neighbours.
