RESERVES OPEN PRE-SEASON WITH WIN

Runcorn Town Reserves opened up their pre-season campaign with a 3-2 victory over Warrington Premier League Runner Up Halebank on Tuesday.

Pete Murphy put Town 1-0 up in the 25th minute following a well worked Ged Bushell corner from the right, with Halebank equalising from the spot just before half time.

Halebank moved into the lead after 50 minutes with a deft chip over Martyn Gill with Town scoring in the 73rd and 77th minutes through Joe Davies and Aarron Brown to seal the win.
