TOWN FINISH LEAGUE SEASON WITH WINS
Runcorn Town and Runcorn Town Reserves both rounded off their West Cheshire League season with wins on Saturday, with both teams finishing off terrific seasons in third place in their leagues.

Town travelled to Upton A.A. and returned with all three points in a comfortable 3-1 victory. Kyle Hamid put Town ahead from the spot midway through the first half, with second half goals from Craig Dewhurst and Joe Davies ensuring victory. Upton grabbed an 87th minute consolation goal through Olly Robinson.

Meanwhile the reserves went behind to an early Steve Owen goal in their home clash with Mersey Royal before Ged Bushell and Craig Beech put Town ahead. Beech added his second and Dave Jolley made it four before Nathan Jones converted a controversial penalty to make it 4-2.
