TOWN WIN RUNCORN FA CUP
Two late goals from Will Dolan, both from the penalty spot, secured the Runcorn FA Cup for Town in a 3-0 victory over Helsby at Pavilions.

In a scrappy first half, defender Danny Dalton opened the scoring after 34 minutes when he volleyed in Dolan's corner from the left. James McShane and Kyle Hamid had early chances in the second half to increase the lead but hit wide and over respectively.

Despite relentless pressure by Town, Helsby held firm with ex-Town defender Jeff Enamu in outstanding form at the heart of the defence. Town's second came five minutes from the end when Michael Boyle was felled in the box after a good one-two with Dolan, with Dolan despatching the penalty low to the left.

Four minutes later, Dalton advanced again into the box and was also brought down, with Dolan finding the opposite corner for his 20th goal of the season.

Enamu was presented with the 'Paul Woods Memorial' Man of the Match trophy by Ian Woods, before Town Captain Robbie Moore and Kyle Hamid were presented with the Cup itself.
