NEWTON GAME OFF

Runcorn Town FC have regretfully had to postpone tomorrow evenings game at Newton after being unable to raise a team for the game.

Despite the club knowing at the weekend that the game may be a possibility, the short notice that we were given that the game was definitely on has meant that more than half the team were unable to get time off work.

The 6.00pm kick off meant that players would need to be at the ground at 5.15pm at the latest, and it became quickly apparent this evening that time off work could not be guaranteed at short notice.

The club wishes to thank Newton for doing their bit in getting the pitch ready for the game given the weather we have had over the last week or so.
