TOWN INTO RUNCORN CUP FINAL
Runcorn Town cruised into the Final of the Runcorn & District FA Saturday Cup Final after a 5-0 victory over Helsby 'Beta' at Runcorn Albion.

Despite creating numerous chances in the first half, Town went in just 1-0 up at half time thanks to Will Dolan's penalty after Simon Burton was fouled in the box. Just after half time it was deja vu as Burton was fouled again with Dolan again finding the net for his 14th goal of the season.

Kyle Hamid made it 3-0 with his 10th goal of the season with another free kick special that went in off the underside of the bar, with Ste Lathom grabbing the fourth after good work by Joe Davies.

Substitute Danny Cummins grabbed the fifth two minutes from time after bringing down Danny Dalton's cross and finding the bottom left corner for his 10th goal of the season, equalling last season's total.

Town face either Helsby 'Alpha' or Moore United in the final, with these playing in the other semi-final on Runcorn Albion's pitch next Wednesday.
