WASH OUT DAY IN WEST CHESHIRE

It was a complete wash out day in the West Cheshire League with every single league and cup game in all three divisions postponed because of waterlogged pitches.

Town's scheduled game at Poulton Vics in the Semi Final of the Pyke Cup was an early casualty this morning, which followed on from the reserves game at home which was called off yesterday.

The other Semi Final, which is between Castrol Social and New Brighton, takes place next Saturday with a 2pm kick off. Town are at Newton on that day, although whether this will be postponed for our Semi Final is yet to be decided.
