SAME AGAIN FOR RESERVES

As with last week, Saturday's Reserve Team fixture has fallen foul to the weather.

The Town pitch is, understandably this morning, under water and there is no chance of Groundsman Paul Rhodes being able to get onto the pitch in order to prepare it for the match.

When this fact was reported to the West Cheshire League earlier today, they stated that this was the fifth postponement they had received today - and that follows yesterday's notification that Wirral MBC had cancelled all games this weekend on any of their pitches. Looks like lots of shops are going to be full tomorrow afternoon !!!

Town Reserves' next game is now next Saturday at home to FC Pensby, kick off 14:00. Runcorn Town's first team Pyke Cup Semi-Final away to Poulton Victoria is currently still on, with kick-off time scheduled for 14.30 - but I suggest that you all watch this space?
